September marked a massive milestone for us: Padel Sheds turned one year old! Over the past 12 months, the energy, community, and sheer enthusiasm on the courts have surpassed anything we could have imagined. Padel has exploded across the UK, and nowhere has that been clearer than right here in Chester.
With that explosive growth has come a familiar challenge: court availability. We know how frustrating it is when you’re desperate for a game and every slot is booked solid.
We’ve kept it under wraps for as long as we could, but we are thrilled to finally announce our major expansion plan: Padel Sheds Chester is growing from 4 to 12 indoor courts!
What’s Coming to Chester
We’ve agreed terms on the adjacent land right next door to our neighbours at Chester FC, and crucial planning permission is already secured.
Here is what we’re building:
- 8 Brand-New Indoor Courts: Taking our total to 12 top-spec courts, making Padel Sheds the largest padel operator in the area.
- Two New Bars: We are adding both a brand-new indoor bar and an outdoor bar, ensuring post-match drinks are covered in every season.
- Expanded Social & Green Spaces: More room to relax, grab a bite, watch matches, and connect with fellow players, both indoors and across our outdoor green areas.
- A Second Dedicated Car Park: Extra parking capacity to make arrival completely stress-free.
More Than Just Courts
From day one, Padel Sheds has been about building a vibrant, welcoming community. This expansion allows us to scale up everything that made our first year so special.
With 12 courts in action, we will be rolling out:
- Larger, more competitive leagues
- Bigger regional tournaments and competitions
- Enhanced social events, clinics, and club nights
- Vastly improved court availability during peak evenings and weekends
Whether you are a seasoned player looking for competitive league play or stepping onto a court for the first time, our goal is simple: making sure there is always a court and a cold drink waiting for you.
