Over 60s Padel: Active Bodies, Great Company, and Tea!

Gentle Introduction to Padel

Padel is taking the world by storm, and there’s a reason everyone loves it: it’s fun, easy to play, and highly social. We’ve created dedicated weekly sessions specifically designed for the over 60s who are looking for a gentle, engaging way to stay active, learn a new skill, and, most importantly, connect with a friendly community.

This is not a high-intensity workout. This is about movement, laughter, and camaraderie.

What to Expect at the Intro Session

Our session is structured to ensure maximum fun with minimum pressure.

1. Gentle & Guided Play (9:30 AM – 10:30 AM)

  • Easy Start: We begin with a very gentle warm-up and an overview of the basic rules. Padel is played in a compact court, making it much easier on the joints than tennis.
  • Skill Building: Our friendly, experienced coach, Luis, will guide you through the basics: how to hold the racket, how to serve, and how to use the walls. You’ll be enjoying simple, fun rallies almost straight away!
  • Equipment Provided: Don’t worry about gear. We supply high-quality rackets and balls for everyone. Just show up in comfortable clothes and trainers.

2. The All-Important Social Hour (10:30 AM onwards)

  • Post-Play Refreshments: Once we wrap up on the court, the social part begins! Head straight to the clubhouse where you can purchase a tea, coffee, or soft drink from our bar.
  • Socialise & Connect: This dedicated time allows you to sit down, relax, and chat with your fellow players. It’s the perfect opportunity to build lasting friendships outside of the court.
